We started this travel log when we backpacked throughout South East Asia in 2008-2009. We continue to provide stories, photos, and travel tips for people interested in seeing the world! Born and raised in California, we both yearned to see more of the world. In 2008 we decided to make our dream of travel to far off places a reality. First, we sold our condo in West Sacramento, California, and packed our belongings into a storage unit. Luckily, we had gracious friends and family who allowed us to stay in their homes, until it was time to depart on our first grand adventure. Once one-way plane tickets to Thailand were bought and suitcases were packed, we were off! Our first extended trip lasted for seven months. Here is an overview of the places we have visited so far.
