The one touristy thing we did while back in KL was to visit the Menara KL tower. We took the light rail and then had to walk a ways to get to the entrance of the park surrounding the KL tower. From the entrance there was a free shuttle up to the tower. The entrance tickets to the observation decks were overpriced, though, at 35 ringgit (US $10)/person. We took some photos from the observation deck and then headed down to find lunch. We considered eating at the revolving restaurant, but you can only go up to that level if you have reservations, so we skipped it. Our ticket also got us some little freebies, like entrance into the Winter Wonderland, which was not very wintery in the KL heat, and we skipped the pony ride.
