The Central Market is a compact indoor shopping center about a 5 minute walk from Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

When we first walked into the market the scent of these delicious little fish sponge cakes wafted over to us and we just had to try them!  We got a bag of a dozen for 3 ringgit ($0.82). Yum!

Then we headed up to the food court on the top floor for dinner.  George decided to try the traditional Malaysian dish, Nasi Lamak.  It was good, except for the fish paste part.

There is also an open-air restaurant on the street level with good food, but the menus in English are only for the western and Chinese food, so if you want to order the Malaysian food you have to be able to read the billboard menu.  The naan with chicken was really good.
